Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD)
PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) Polycrystalline diamond composite is cobalt as the catalyst, the fine particles of diamonds bonded on the tungsten carbide or wrapped in, into the high-pressure device and heating, after sintering to form a complex, was disorder, low thermal expansion coefficient, high abrasive elasticity and low coefficient of friction and high hardness. Polycrystalline diamond composite consists of cemented carbide matrix and polycrystalline diamond layer composed of two parts, polycrystalline diamond content of more than 90%, both with high hardness and wear resistance, but also has good impact toughness.
